From the beginning of wedding planning to all throughout wedding night, Douglas James Entertainment were the absolute best to have around. The utmost professionalism, amazing energy, and fun like no one else. They truly made the party - best entertainment crew/DJ In the New Jersey/New York area. Don’t even think twice, book them! From the start, Doug was super helpful in helping us plan the music and entertainment for our wedding on 11/6/2021. We had a couple of Zoom meetings with him to plan everything and he would also often check-in with us to see how everything was going. Fast forward to the day of the wedding… unbelievable. EVERYONE, and that’s not a lie, was dancing the entire night. We had the DJ/Band hybrid and it was the best choice we could have made. From the moment we walked out, they had everyone on the dance floor, and obviously slowed it down when needed. They read the room and played what everyone needed at that moment. I could not recommend Doug and his team more. It was better than we could have ever imagined and made our wedding day amazing. Everyone is still talking about the music!

We just had our wedding and Douglas James Entertainment and his team were our entertainment for the evening. From the start of our conversations, Douglas was patient with us and gave us recommendations for everything. He planned our whole entertainment from start to finish flawlessly. Anytime we had any questions, he answered immediately. He had the crowd dancing and engaged all night. All of our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. I cannot say enough words about how amazing Douglas james entertainment was. I had my wedding 8/27/22 and none of my guests sat once during the wedding. Wow!!! November 23, 2019 was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. The band was outstanding!!!! The band was out of control amazing. Every single person was asking me who the band was. The band beyond killed it and I am so so so so sooooooo happy!!!!!! They made the party!! The dance floor was packed the whole time and the dance sets were killer. Our first dance was perfect!!!! Thank you Douglas soooo much for making the best night of my life THE BEST. I can’t wait to have another event in the future soon so I can have Douglas and his band there!! Douglas listened closely to each detail that meant so much to me musically and everything was flawless.

My husband and I used Douglas James Entertainment for our wedding in June 2019. We heard of them through a friend who had Doug as their wedding DJ and Band. Their recommendation was a godsend. Doug and his entire crew delivered above and beyond what my husband and I expected. They made the night flow effortlessly, kept the dance floor packed and everyone having fun throughout the entire night. The energy that these guys bring is contagious. They had every single person up and dancing, from the little cousins, to the elderly aunts, these guys really made the party something great. They were a nonstop pleasure to have at our wedding and I would (and have) recommended them on multiple occasions!!!
